The resource will play the role of Marketing Manager and he / she will report to the management. He / she will be responsible for the execution of the GroupM Italy Marketing & Communication Plan.
ROLE SCOPE
This role is also accountable for efficient and effective support of all the Marketing & Communication Initiatives.
In particular he / she will be responsible to :
- Support the Marketing Director in developing Marketing & Communication strategy and Marketing plan, implementing them
- Provide inputs to the communication strategy, anticipating trends and topics, creating visibility opportunities for Company’s main topics
- Ensure alignment of Communication agenda among GroupM and media agencies, by holding on frequent contacts with GroupM Communication agencies’ marketing department
- Interact via mail and calls with GroupM Global Marketing (e.g. marketing catch ups; global marketing community meetings attendance)
- Be responsible of all the marketing activities implementation and more in details :
- Analysis on competition and market players
- Support in internal / external communication events organization (from ideation to logistics : location scouting and set up, catering organization, webinar technical set up in collaboration with IT, press conferences organization)
- CRM platform owner (currently Mailchimp) and bespoke marketing internal and external communication (e.g. Newsletter)
- Internal and external awards management (e.g. coordinate agencies timings for awards application, drive the management of projects in relation to media and creativity awards)
- Support production and editing support to the thought leadership activity (text reviewing and correction; editing, art-working and beautification)
- Hands on support for creation and preparation of all marketing materials directly (where possible) and by coordinating a dedicated resource (graphic designer) : e.g. PowerPoint presentations; footage editing; design and execution of images for digital advertising
PERSONAL SKILLS
- About 8 years of working experience in marketing and communications roles
- Experience in a PR agency or in a Corporate Comms role is a plus
- Solid project management skills and experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plan
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (including Board Members), external partners, agencies
- Ability to handle and own multiple projects and work well under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
- Highly motivated & positive attitude especially towards team working
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office package (in particular Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Digital savvy
- Mailchimp and similar CRM platforms precedent usage experience
- CMS (i.e. Word Press) previous usership experience
