Overview

MARKET ACCESS MANAGER – ITALY

Pharma Point is seeking a Market Access Manager on behalf of a leading multinational pharmaceutical company operating in the field of rare diseases. The role will be based in Milan and will play a strategic part in ensuring timely and sustainable access of the company’s therapies to patients across Italy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of pricing and reimbursement dossiers to AIFA;
• Manage pricing negotiations and maintain proactive relationships with national and regional authorities;
• Develop and execute market access strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives;
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with AIFA and key institutional stakeholders, contributing to the definition of Public Affairs strategies, supporting advocacy and policy initiatives;
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Medical, HEOR, Commercial) to support market access goals;
• Monitor the evolving regulatory and policy landscape, particularly within the rare diseases area.

Requirements

• Degree in scientific or economic disciplines;
• Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in Market Access roles within pharmaceutical companies;
• Proven track record in dossier development, pricing negotiations, and interactions with AIFA;
• Strong understanding of regional access dynamics and institutional frameworks;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills;
• Strategic mindset and ability to navigate complex, matrix environments;
• Fluent in English.
