Job summary

MSC Technology Italia is seeking an experienced Naval IT Business Analyst to join its Operational team. The role combines naval architecture and marine engineering knowledge with IT and business analysis to act as a key interface between Planning teams, business stakeholders, and software development.

You will translate vessel physics and regulatory requirements into clear functional specs for developers and support ongoing planning software for terminals.

Qualifications

• Experience combining naval/marine domain knowledge with IT/business analysis.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable specs for developers.
• Strong interface skills between Planning Offices, terminals, and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Business-to-IT interface to support vessel planning software development.
• Gather and document requirements from Planning Offices and terminals.
• Translate vessel physics, regulations and constraints into functional specifications for developers.
• Provide expertise on vessel stowage planning, stability and safety parameters.
