Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. seeks a capable professional to perform electrical and auto system inspections aboard our vessels. The role involves daily shipyard inspections, coordinating with Yard teams, and ensuring contractual and technical requirements are met during construction, inspection, and sea trials.

You will work with the operating company team during both inspection and commissioning phases and help address open items post-delivery, contributing to successful vessel projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; maritime background preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role within a maritime or shipbuilding environment.
• Basic English proficiency (B1) and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vessel inspections in line with the shipyard schedule.
• Follow up open items with Yard teams and attend meetings for defects discussions.
• Report progress, open items, and issues to the Manager, Electrical & Auto System.
• Collaborate with operating company team during inspection and commissioning.
• Participate in sea trials and assist post-delivery commissioning.
• Support topics relevant to Vessel project development for Electrical & Auto System.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing on Owner's behalf.
• Engage in patrolling activities and perform other duties as assigned.
