Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring a Manufacturing Planner in Lombardy to manage production schedules and capacity across the plant. You will align short- and medium-term plans with customer delivery requirements, monitor material readiness, and maintain MRP settings to ensure feasible production.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Operations Management, Logistics or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel). SAP/MRP knowledge is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar production planning role.
• Good written and spoken English. Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production for assigned areas balancing demand and supply.
• Manage medium/long-term plans (up to 12 months) using forecasts and S&OP inputs.
• Ensure efficient resource utilization through ongoing communications with Operations.
• Issue production orders and monitor MRP parameters and material readiness.
• Collaborate with internal customers to resolve capacity or material risks before they occur.
