Job summary

Rotork PLC in Italy is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and document shop floor manufacturing processes, applying engineering best practices to boost factory efficiency during a period of transformation.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will participate in audits, provide technical support, and analyse problems with the goal of proposing new processes and equipment that deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience using CAD software (Solid Edge).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience in engineering manufacturing environment with electromechanical products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
  • Good command of English (B1–B2).
  • Fluent English.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and document shop floor manufacturing processes applying engineering best practices.
  • Participate in audits and provide technical support across the factory.
  • Analyse problems and propose new processes and equipment for improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives during transformation.

  • Good command of the English language (B1–B2 level).
  • Fluent English
