Alfasigma S.p.A. in Rome seeks a Manager, Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering to design, deploy, and assure security across global IT and Azure Cloud environments. You will own the enterprise security architecture and drive security controls and governance.

Key responsibilities include steering security platforms, validating control effectiveness, and overseeing Application and Data Security (SAST/DAST/SCA, DLP) with external providers as needed.

Competenze

• Solid experience in Security Architecture/Engineering or Infrastructure/Cloud Security with design ownership and assurance.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, Azure Cloud security, and network security.
• Experience with Application Security (SAST/DAST/SCA) and Data Security (DLP, classification, encryption).
• Ability to govern security platforms, including those operated by external providers.

Manager, Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering

Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering Manager responsible for designing, deploying, and assuring security architecture, engineering, and application & data security across Alfasigma’s global IT and Azure Cloud environments.

Scope of the role

Own the design of enterprise security architecture (Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, network segmentation, cloud & infrastructure security) and independently assure implementation of security controls across IT and Azure environments. Oversee the Group's Application and Data Security, with hands‑on duties in security engineering, SAST/DAST/SCA, DLP, and platform governance.

Your role

• Design and maintain the enterprise security architecture and enforce security‑by‑design standards.
• Govern security platforms such as Wiz and Microsoft Purview, steering evolution and configuration.
• Verify effectiveness of security controls implemented by IT teams, focusing on hardening, vulnerability, and patch management.
• Govern Application Security (SAST/DAST/SCA) and Group Data Security (classification, DLP, encryption), supporting GxP data‑integrity controls with Global IT.
• Coordinate with other teams for response to relevant security events.

Who you are

• Solid experience in Security Architecture / Engineering or Infrastructure / Cloud Security with design ownership and assurance.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, Azure Cloud security, and network security.
• Experience with Application Security (SAST/DAST/SCA) and Data Security (DLP, classification, encryption).
• Ability to govern security platforms, including those operated by external providers.
• Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialist, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, Microsoft Azure, Palo Alto, etc.) are a plus.
• Good command of English.
