Join to apply for the Maintenance Official - Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel role at Minor Hotels Europe & Americas.

As a Maintenance Official, you will assist the Maintenance Manager with day‑to‑day activities and be responsible for the proper operation, maintenance, and inspection of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, ensuring that all standards are met.

What will you do?
  • Assist the maintenance manager in day‑to‑day work and oversee preventive maintenance of all equipment and facilities.
  • Carry out corrective maintenance activities in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the implementation of security measures and supervise availability of necessary permits.
  • Organize with the manager proposals for investment, replacement, and adjustment of contracts with vendors.
  • Support the maintenance manager in organizing the duties and maintenance activities of external vendors in the hotel, and coordinate these activities with all departments involved.
  • Collaborate in the control and follow‑up of energy consumption and maintenance costs (e.g., water and electricity).
  • Assist in setting up meeting rooms (audiovisuals, lighting, etc.).
  • Solve guest incidents and issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
What are we looking for?
  • At least 2‑3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in the hotel or service industry of similar size and complexity.
  • Vocational training in electrical and electronics, HVAC, industrial maintenance, or related fields.
  • Fluency in the local language is a must; knowledge of English is highly valuable.
  • Knowledge in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electric and electronic systems.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Organized and proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
