Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma in Meldola, Italy is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliability, safety, and GMP-compliant operation of production equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support qualification activities, and drive continuous improvements in a highly regulated setting.

The role requires a technical degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering, 3+ years in GMP environments, and fluency in English. Italian language is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in maintenance roles within GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience in radiopharmaceuticals or nuclear medicine is highly desirable.
• English proficiency required; local language also expected.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, HVAC systems, cleanrooms, and radiation shielding devices.
• Support equipment qualification, calibration, and validation activities in collaboration with QA and production teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in GMP and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized interventions.
• Participate in audits and inspections, providing technical support and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and process efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety procedures and environmental health standards.

Your expertise:

We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

Education [Minimum/Preferred]:

• - Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; specialization in pharmaceutical or nuclear technologies is a plus.

Languages:

• - Local language and proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Benefits

Annual salary range : €35,000 - €41,000 + benefits.
