ACMA in Bologna seeks a Machine Vision Engineer to join the Automation & Digital Innovation team, developing advanced vision systems and IIoT solutions for process control, quality assurance, and predictive maintenance.

The role requires 4–6 years in machine vision, embedded development, or automation, with expertise in C/C++, Python, and IEC 61131-3 ST. Collaboration across engineering and production is essential, along with a focus on cybersecurity and scalable systems.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer/Automation Engineering or related technical field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Machine Vision or embedded development.
• Experience delivering machine vision apps in industrial environments.

Mansioni

• Develop, validate, and industrialize machine vision applications from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with Automation, Quality, Production to integrate vision solutions.
• Conduct PoC activities for new vision technologies and suppliers.
• Select and integrate hardware components including sensors, controllers, lenses, lighting, cameras.
• Work with Omron and Cognex vision platforms.
• Contribute to IoT ecosystem data flow from edge to cloud.
• Support predictive maintenance and data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain software for connected industrial systems.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and cybersecurity.
