The Taranto site is where we have our most proven technologies and will be introducing our most complex new products in the future. Our team here works to ensure customers receive safe and quality proven products on time. The Taranto footprint has served Vestas for 25 years and will continue to do so. The logistics department is part of our Taranto operations and ensures inbound receiving, warehousing, internal delivery, planning, outbound delivery, stock counting, and optimal use of all equipment related to this.

Responsibilities

• Leading according to Vestas values and behaviors - Safety & Quality Culture is sustained
• Conduct Safety and Quality walks daily/weekly
• Ensure full End-to-End deliveries are according to plans and aligned to customer needs
• On-time ordering (OTO)
• All planning on-site daily/weekly/monthly and annually
• Follow up on On-time delivery (OTD)
• Stock count
• Staffing plan in logistics to ensure that we are able to serve productions and deliveries
• Daily/weekly/annual planning is done correctly and followed up on
• Follow up on half-yearly employee surveys and activities to develop the organization

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree
• +8 year industrial experience
• Worked in logistics before at manager level
• Has a reputation for effective team leadership
• Fluent in English and Italian

Competencies

• People manager with a high level of open communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP
