TJX Companies in Florence is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support vendor relations and ensure smooth direct importation of merchandise into U.S. and Canadian markets.

You will liaise with vendors, buyers and agents, enforce TJX logistics standards, manage purchase order follow-up, and travel as required; strong English, computer skills and organization are essential; this is a 12-month fixed-term assignment with a competitive salary and benefits.

Competenze

• Knowledge of computers and systems.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
• Previous experience in Logistics is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.

Mansioni

• Interacts with vendors and agents on logistics policies and procedures.
• Communicates with vendor community and with buying/sourcing teams for direct importation.
• Guides suppliers through TJX direct import protocols for timely export.
• Counsels agents/vendors to correct non-compliant execution of TJX logistics standards.
• Assists in Purchase order follow up after product/program commitment.

Conoscenze

Good organization skills

Knowledge of computer systems

Excellent verbal/writing English

Ability to communicate to all levels

Previous experience in Logistics

Availability to travel
