Logistic Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistic Coordinator who will be based at our Headquarters in Parma.

The successful candidate will ensure the proper management of project logistics, including accommodation camps, warehouses, consumable materials, the company’s fleet, material receival from abroad/other sites, and material collection from the local market, with a particular focus on pipeline projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Project Warehouse Coordinator (WCC) in the daily management of the project warehouse, ensuring stock level updates upon receipt/issuance of materials, issuance of new requests for materials, stock level analysis, stock corrections, system updates, monthly closing, and reporting to the Head of Logistics (EQC).
  • Ensure, through the Capo Piazzale (MGZ), the correct utilization of the company’s fleet assigned to the project, verifying that proper maintenance is carried out by appointed personnel and informing project management and the Head of Logistics (ECQ) in case of misconduct on-site.
  • Take formal responsibility for the released assets when equipment is released by the project, until the company decides to transfer or demobilize them.
  • Issue requests for equipment when instructed by project management and the Project Logistics Coordinator.
  • Coordinate with the Workshop Supervisor (WSS) to support maintenance planning and execution, ensuring that all local and project deadlines related to the assets assigned to the project are duly met.
  • Ensure, through the Camp Boss (CMM), the proper operational performance of the project’s temporary accommodation and industrial base, planning and executing requested maintenance and systematically controlling the lodging status and related costs.
  • Liaise with local vendors to collect materials or services procured locally, ensuring that goods/services are delivered according to the project schedule and management instructions, followed by proper documentation handed over to the AFC department.
  • Work closely with the HQ Forwarding and Customs Advisor (FCA) to manage the incoming flow of materials shipped from abroad.
  • Ensure ERP system updates, monthly closing, and reporting to the Head of Logistics (EQC).
  • Ensure that all project safety standards are met by all personnel.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in the pipelines sector, specifically in pipeline construction or logistics management, is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of the execution life cycle of pipeline construction projects is a plus.
  • Willingness to work on projects located in both EU and non-EU countries, including frequent and/or extended field assignments or business trips.
  • Fluent in English.
