Allegro MicroSystems seeks a Linux Administrator to join our global team and support a high-performance engineering simulation environment. You will manage the Linux infrastructure that enables IC design engineers to simulate and verify next-gen sensing and power technologies.

The role requires 5+ years of enterprise Linux experience, deep RHEL knowledge, VMware/ESXi proficiency, and scripting ability. Hybrid work is available as part of our flexible work model.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/engineering/CS or equivalent.
• 5+ years managing an enterprise Linux environment.
• Expert knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 6, 7, and 8.
• Experience with Windows Server OS, patching protocols, and VMware/ESXi.
• Hands-on with Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell EMC storage.
• Ability to read, understand, and write Linux scripts to automate tasks.
• RHCSA/RHCE certification is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide operational support, maintenance, and evolution of global Linux infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the global EDA operations team to ensure high availability.
• Plan, install, and support managed Linux environments (virtualized and physical).
• Resolve incidents, communicate clearly, and track follow-up actions.
• Document processes and provide cross-training for the team.
• Participate in on-call escalation rotation for 24/7 coverage.
