Job summary

Innodata Inc. is seeking an Italian Language Specialist for AI training and LLM evaluation. The role focuses on linguistic data projects and high-quality language content. Bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics or related fields is preferred.

You will work on linguistically rich content, assess outputs for fluency and accuracy, and annotate datasets to improve AI training and language understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics, language science, or a related field.
• Strong background in Italian linguistics and language analysis.
• Experience in NLP and content editing to support AI training.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit linguistically rich content, including grammar guides, syntactic analyses, usage explanations, and NLP examples.
• Identify and resolve issues related to ambiguity, bias, grammaticality, and language quality.
• Evaluate AI/LLM outputs for fluency, tone, accuracy, and language appropriateness.
• Annotate linguistic datasets with syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic labels.
• Conduct linguistic research and summarise findings for internal teams.
• Analyse model behaviour, error patterns, and generalization issues using linguistic expertise.
