Lever, Inc. seeks a Legal Counsel based in Italy to provide hands-on support across corporate, commercial, and IP matters in a technology-driven environment.

You will manage day-to-day legal issues, advise on contracts, support cross-border activities with the US, UK, and EU, and build scalable legal processes while coordinating external counsel.

Remote-friendly, with office or hybrid options; a business-facing role requiring independence and strong stakeholder management.

Competenze

• 2–3+ years of legal experience with international cross-border matters (US/UK/EU)
• Practical experience in corporate and commercial law
• Experience handling intellectual property matters
• Experience coordinating external counsel
• Ability to work independently and build legal processes from the ground up
• Fluent Russian and strong English, able to review/contracts and liaise with external counsel
• Experience in consumer electronics, hardware, or international product companies is a plus
• Experience with UAE or Chinese law is a plus
• Law firm background advising international/tech clients is valued

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal Counsel based in Italy.

As Legal Counsel, you will provide hands‑on legal support across corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and international matters. You’ll work closely with the business to identify legal risks and provide practical, commercially focused advice. The role involves supporting cross-border activities across the US, UK, EU, and potentially other international jurisdictions. You’ll independently manage day‑to‑day legal matters while knowing when to bring in specialist external counsel. You’ll also help establish and improve legal processes as the business continues to grow. This is an opportunity to work in an international, technology‑focused environment where legal expertise directly supports business operations and product development.

Accountabilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support across a broad range of business activities.
• Advise on corporate and commercial matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Support cross‑border and international legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU.
• Independently manage routine legal matters and provide practical, business‑oriented advice.
• Identify complex, specialist, or jurisdiction‑specific legal issues requiring external expertise.
• Select, engage, and coordinate external legal counsel as needed.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to support business objectives while managing legal risks.
• Help develop and implement practical legal processes that support efficient business operations.

Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of relevant legal experience, including hands‑on exposure to international and cross‑border matters involving the US, UK, and EU.
• Practical experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Experience handling intellectual property law matters.
• Experience working with and coordinating external legal counsel.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of legal matters, and build legal processes from the ground up.
• Fluent Russian and B2+ English, with sufficient proficiency to review and negotiate contracts and communicate effectively with external counsel and counterparties.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• A business‑oriented, hands‑on approach with the ability to provide practical and commercially minded legal advice.
• Experience in consumer electronics, hardware, or an international product company is a plus.
• Practical experience with UAE or Chinese law is a plus.
• Relevant experience at a law firm, particularly advising international or technology‑focused clients, is also valued.
