An international industrial group located in Emilia-Romagna seeks a Legal Specialist to support its legal department. The role involves drafting and managing legal documents, providing advice to operational personnel, and overseeing compliance and litigation matters. Applicants should have a law degree and at least 3 years of experience in legal services. English proficiency is essential. Competitive package offered.

Overview

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work into a legal department of an internationally fast paced operating multinational industrial group. As part of the Legal Department the ideal candidate will report to the CFO and will be involved in all legal topics.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• To draft, review, and revise legal documents and a variety of agreements related to the different business needs.
• To manage the legal affairs of the company including corporate law, contracts management, privacy and data protection, intellectual property, compliance D.Lgs. 231 / 2001.
• To be the primary point of contacts for Sales and Commercial team to support day-to-day operations, also giving legal and business-oriented advice to all the operational personnel.
• To direct contacts with external partners (lawyers, notary, patent attorneys, advisors).
• To support the management of company’s Intellectual Property portfolio.
• To follow-up changes in legislation, jurisprudence and doctrine at Italian and EU level.
• To manage the bankruptcy proceedings.
• In charge of the litigation and pre-litigation cases: commercial law, competition law etc.

Skills required

• Degree in Law.
• Practice of law in legal firms is considered a plus.
• 3 years previous experience in legal services for large organizations that include a legal department.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Self-motivation and great sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
• Personal ethics, tact and diplomacy.
• IT knowledge: Good knowledge of Office.
