A leading global confectionery company based in Alba, Italy, is seeking a Lean Production Specialist to enhance performance across Group factories. This role involves developing improvement methodologies, managing performance targets, and collaborating with various teams. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in engineering and 2-5 years of experience in a structured company, along with fluency in English. Business travel is a requirement.
We are currently looking for aLean Production Specialist – Nutella to join our Ferrero Operational Excellence & Performance Factors Department in Alba (CN).
In this role, you will support thedevelopment of Performance Factors andProduction Models across Group factories, ensuring consistent and effective implementation. Additionally, you will work alongside the Performance Professional Families, fostering collaboration and excellence within the team.
You will support theglobal development and improvement of Focused Improvement (FI) methodologies,Kaizen andSMED, and related procedures, includingSix-Sigma (DMAIC approach) and other analytical tools. This role involves creating and updatingFI KPIs, targets, project numbers (major losses), and guidelines for initiative planning at bothGroup and Area levels. You will assess and validate the maturity of new methodologies adoption at the local level through audit plan execution and support the consolidation of progress overviews on local initiatives, training sessions, audits, and results to enhance Overall Asset Effectiveness and competitiveness.
Additionally, you will ensure the assessment ofPlants Performance Factors, harmonization of production models, deployment and optimization of methodologies, and release performance factors/production models benchmarks for the development of projects business cases (products/ footprint) to support other central Industrial & Supply departments. You will also support and challenge plants in definingperformance targets (budget, SAF).
Lastly, you will participate in the activities of the Performance Professional Families at the Group level, driving cross‑fertilization of internal and external best practices, continuous improvement, and workshops.
You will bring yourmaster’s degree in engineering or a related field, along with2-5 years of experience in a structured company. Your knowledge oflean methodology will be an asset for us, as well as your strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders within the organization. You speakfluent English, any other language will be a plus for us.
Your availability forbusiness trips (approximately 20%) is a key requirement.
