Competenze

All about the role:

As part of the Lean Engineering Team within Porcia site, you will directly report to the Lean Engineering and Ergonomy Manager. Thanks to the transversal responsibilities expected for this role you will have the possibility to gain experience across the Fabric Care Product lines and Electrolux Major Appliance - Europe.

What you’ll do:

Based in the Porcia (PN), you will ensure the implementation of best in class, standardized and optimized solutions for different Lean optimization projects.

  • Prepare technical specification for new equipment and tooling
  • Rationalize plant layout
  • Support Maintenance team in improvements of performance equipment
  • Interface with R&D, Quality and Central Engineering for manufacturability of products
  • Cooperation with Central Engineering to industrialize new products and research innovative solutions for smart and optimal manufacturing processes
Who you are:
  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education.
  • Previous experience in Lean or Process engineering would be considered a plus
  • Strong problem solving with consistent analysis attitude;
  • Process-oriented and cost-conscious mindset;
  • Open-minded and improvement-oriented attitude;
  • Good communication skills (ability to interact with factory and at R&D colleagues);
  • Fluent in English and Italian
Where you’ll be:

You will be based in Porcia, located in the metropolitan area of Pordenone (Northeast Italy), where the main Electrolux R&D centre is located. Here, in a dynamic environment, we develop and test domestic appliances such as Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Washer Dryers and Tumble Dryers.
