Lead Project Management Specialist – Project Planning

Join the Gas Technology Equipment Team at Baker Hughes. As a Lead Project Manager, you will drive project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction by managing project activities and resources.

Responsibilities
  • Create project plans, provide target dates, and prioritize tasks.
  • Evaluate risks and issues to shorten execution lead time.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Update project schedules, track progress, and propose mitigation plans.
  • Maintain schedule risks and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal functions and site teams.
  • Prepare high‑level presentations for management and customer reviews.
  • Track financial milestones, forecast projections, and gap analysis.
  • Confirm completion KPIs during closure until hand‑off to operations.
  • Plan site installation activities from opening to commissioning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Strong project management skills; Agile experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SharePoint, PowerApps, Forms, Flow, Oracle ERP, Primavera P6.
  • Knowledge or experience in Lean Six Sigma.
  • Leadership skills; ability to influence others and lead small teams.
