Lead Plant Layout & Piping Engineer for Plants and Modules

Join Baker Hughes as a Lead Plant Layout & Piping Engineer, responsible for layout design, 3D model development and piping engineering across onshore and offshore applications including gas treatment, compression, re‑injection stations, power plants, LNG plants and process modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant layout and piping engineering for onshore and offshore energy applications.
• Manage 3D model development, ensuring operability and maintainability across various plant types.
• Oversee design of layouts for gas treatment, power, LNG and modular process plants.
• Provide expert guidance in design standardisation, compliance and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with significant experience in Plant Layout & Piping Engineering.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools such as AutoCAD, Microstations, Aveva, SmartPlant and Navisworks.
• Exceptional knowledge of international standards and major oil & gas operators' specifications (e.g. ASME, API, ENI STDs).
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and project‑coordination skills in cross‑functional environments.
• Fluent in English, able to collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
