This role involves designing subsea distribution technologies and collaborating across teams to ensure project specifications are met. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, strong expertise in 3D CAD, and robust communication skills. Flexible working options are available, but proximity to the office is preferred.

The Lead Engineer – NTI/NPI Manifold, Distribution, and Connection is responsible for the design and development of subsea products covering manifold structures and foundations, piping systems, distribution equipment and subsea connection systems.

As a Lead Engineer, NTI/NPI Manifold, Distribution and Connection, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Leading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and /or FE assessments, documents creation and review, ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule.
  • Working cross‑functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.
  • Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.
  • Managing engineering suppliers on technical aspects, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical contractual requirements.
  • Providing engineering support to program management, planning, quality and any other stakeholder.
  • Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products.
  • Providing consultancy advice to the engineering tender teams to correctly identify and select the portfolio products that best suit the required tender specifications.

  • Have a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Be an expert in 3D CAD modelling and/or in FEA.
  • Have subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies (desired).
  • Have a robust mechanical design background.
  • Be proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
