Are you a highly skilled engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation? We invite you to join our team as a Lead Engineer within the Systems and Solutions organization.

With broad experience within process industry and automation projects related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS), you will play a key role in guiding projects, coordinating project team members, and make sure our products meet high standards. You’ll work with different teams to design and build smart, practical solutions.

Onsite presence is essential for effective collaboration and fostering our dynamic team environment. We have a hybrid model of working (weekly day remote option). Our office is located in Seregno, Italy.

Support the Project Manager in understanding and meeting customer expectations.

Take ownership of engineering tasks, using effective methods to reduce costs while maintaining schedule and quality.

Act as the main technical contact for the customer on assigned projects.

Help prepare procurement lists and specifications for sub-contracts, ensuring timely delivery.

Ensure all engineering deliverables meet scope, quality, budget, and schedule requirements, and flag any customer-driven changes.

Promote a supportive team environment and assist colleagues in achieving their development goals.

Contribute to bid activities, ensuring customer needs are understood and smart, efficient solutions are proposed.

For This Role, You Will Need :

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience

  • years of industry experience with a strong record of managing system design, implementation, and testing of process automation control systems (DCS or PLC)

Ability to lead a technical team – with leadership experience preferred

Proficiency in English and Italian language

Open to travel to customer sites (up to %)

Drivers license

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :

Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units

In-depth knowledge of at least one major Industry such as chemical, pharma, petrochemical, or similar

Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity and networking (VLAN, router, network segmentation)

Knowledge and experience in specific DCS control systems (DeltaV preferred)
