Job summary

Alpitronic, based in Bolzano, Italy, is seeking a Software Product Manager to define and drive the embedded software roadmap in alignment with market trends and regulatory requirements. You will partner with Engineering, Validation, Service, Sales, and Marketing to translate market needs into actionable product requirements and manage the software backlog with R&D teams.

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics, Automation, Software, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in a technical and customer-facing role.
Knowledge of EV charging industry, OCPP, and charging protocols.
Familiarity with load and energy management, networking, and cybersecurity concepts.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
English, German and/or Italian are a plus.

Responsibilities

Define the embedded software roadmap aligned with company strategy, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer requirements, translating insights into new product opportunities.
Translate market needs into product requirements and prioritize the software backlog with R&D teams.
Collaborate with Engineering, Validation, Service, Sales, and Marketing throughout the software lifecycle to optimize cross-functional processes and communicate status.
