Overview

Lead Construction Planner & Controller_Modules role at Baker Hughes

Responsibilities
  • Developing the construction schedule based on construction strategy, material availability and setting main milestones for the construction phase.
  • Managing and controlling the schedule from structure arrival to module delivery, supported by Primavera P6 and project control tools (TCE, Oracle; Business Object; ASCP; Cyber-plan); provide support to functions during project development and execution.
  • Leading weekly reports to be shared with the customer, including key milestones and progress and productivity reporting.
  • Preparing project control documents in compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimizing inventory and implementing process improvements.
  • Estimating sales and inventory levels on a monthly basis.
  • Setting the transportation plan and strategy with the Operations leader and contractors.
  • Developing strategic and operational plans; monitoring and following up with the commercial team on opportunities, defining available slots and manhour estimation.
  • Suggesting improvements in products, processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Have a degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with experience in Planning).
  • Have experience in EPC Planning and Execution.
  • Be familiar with P6 Primavera tool.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
