Moneyfarm is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer in our Partners Engineering team. You will own the architecture and execution of backend services powering our B2B partnerships, manage onboarding flows, subscriptions, and data exchanges, and mentor engineers while aligning with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Engineering Manager and stakeholders to design scalable solutions, implement API strategies, and ensure robust security and quality across Moneyfarm's platform.

Competenze

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a backend focus.
• Deep expertise in Java or Go, with ability to work across the stack.
• Experience using AI-assisted development workflows and building production-grade systems.
• Proven mentorship and leadership experience within engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills to lead technical discussions with Product, Design, Business and partners.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Italian language proficiency for partner/stakeholder communication.

Mansioni

• Own the technical architecture and design of the Partners backend platform.
• Lead complex integrations with partner banks and financial providers.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to backend engineers.
• Define API strategy and ensure secure, scalable APIs.
