Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB is seeking a motivated Compliance Intern in Milan to support KYC reviews within an ongoing six-month internship, on-site only for the summer period. Fluency in English and Italian is required, with French as a bonus.

You will assist senior Compliance Officers in KYC/AML tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining audit trails, and collaborating with the security team to prevent money laundering and related risks.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) activities or client due diligence

Mansioni

• Reviewing and assess risks related to new and existing clients (KYC), focusing on higher-risk profiles
• Performing detailed analysis of KYC files escalated to Compliance ensuring completeness and regulatory adequacy
• Assessing requests related to transactions requiring enhanced scrutiny or specific approvals per Italian AML red flags and SAR obligations
• Verifying compliance with KYC/AML regulations through data, documents, and systems
• Maintaining audit trails with analyses, decisions, and escalations
• Collaborating with the financial security team to prevent money laundering and corruption
