Job summary

The Social Hub in Firenze is seeking a Kitchen Porter to maintain a clean, safe and efficient kitchen environment. You’ll wash dishes, handle stock, and keep all areas spotless, contributing to smooth daily operations.

No experience? No problem—training will be provided as you join a friendly, fast-paced team focused on hospitality excellence and consistent standards across our European properties.

Qualifications

• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet.
• A team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness.
• Reliable and hard-working behind the scenes.
• Clear communication skills – able to follow instructions and ask when in doubt.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines.
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless.
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock.
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow.
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP.
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly.
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away.

• Starting salary: 21.185,48€ gross per year
