A leading luxury eyewear company in Padova is seeking a skilled Eyewear Designer to analyze trends and develop innovative designs. The ideal candidate will have an Accessory Design Degree, over 3 years of experience in high-end eyewear design, and strong knowledge of the luxury market. Responsibilities include collaborating with suppliers, developing mood boards, and monitoring design progress. This full-time role offers a stimulating workplace environment within a global luxury group committed to talent development.

Competenze

  • 3+ years of experience in Eyewear Design in high-end segment, preferably international.
  • Knowledge of Luxury and Fashion Accessories market is essential.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Description

How you will contribute

Analyzing global Eyewear trends on styles, shapes, materials and colors, through direct interaction with suppliers, competitors, customers and other relevant players to the target brands,

defining and developing creative concepts and mood boards in line with the guidelines provided by Brand Management and Creative Direction,

Interfacing with key suppliers, research centers and other relevant players to develop new design solutions, construction details, and processing methodologies to be submitted to the Eyewear Creative Director for approval,

developing creative styles, both by hand and in digital format, in line with the brief received, to be submitted to the Eyewear Creative Director for approval and improvements,

Discussing with Cad Designers and Industrialization team to provide feedback and translate the approved designs into complete and consistent 3D digital format, transferring them the creative content and stylistic solutions,

Closely monitoring the progress of the 3D technical design, prototyping and product development steps, highlighting critical issues in terms of performance, quality, time and cost,

Participating in the Collections approval meetings, sharing the information with the involved and relevant business functions

Closely working with Supply Chain and Demand Planning functions to contribute the achievement of quality, lead-time and cost targets,

Guaranteeing contribution in communicating the key concepts of the developed collection to all internal and external key players,

Supporting the team updating our style collection as well as our colors and material archives.

Who you are
  • Accessory Design Degree or equivalent qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Eyewear Design in hi-end segment, possibly in an international environment (plus)
  • Solid knowledge of Luxury and Fashion Accessories market
  • Strong attitude to teamwork
