Overview

RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Software Engineer to join its office in TURIN within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The Junior Site Engineer mission is to provide essential software support to licensed engineers in various engineering projects under direct customer control. They assist in the preparation of software environments, design calculations, drafting technical specifications, reports, and other necessary tasks. Additionally, they utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software, perform fieldwork, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

Key Accountabilities

• Software Development : Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices.
• Interface the product / project managers to receive technical requirements to be implemented

Testing and Deployment

• Support the V&V team during testing and validation activities for defect analysis
• Analyze and solve detected problems implementing the needed corrections

Documentation

• Document APIs, and implementation details.
• Maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to the software applications.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software applications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the C / C++ programming language.
• Experience in Internet protocols as TCP / IP
• Experience in multi-task and multi-threaded application development.
• Good written and spoken knowledge of the English language.
