Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for a Junior Proposal Engineer.

Proposal Engineer reports to the Service Italy General Manager and is part of Aftermarket Service Center Italy (Massafra). Proposal Engineer carries out most of its activities during the offer phase, working in close collaboration with the Technical Engineer and Regional Sales Manager, acting as the main customer reference.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Technical Specification and MR Analysis (received from Sales Team)
  • Management of Customer queries (deviations and clarifications)
  • Collaboration with Technical Engineers for the Buy Out Items
  • Participation in technical alignment meeting/call (also in presence at customer site)
  • Complete definition of the cost associated with all offered items
  • Definition of pricing, based on the indications of GM and Sales Team
  • Preparation of the "offer package", including all relevant attachments (also administrative ones).
  • Management of supplier portals (updates, new qualifications, scouting, etc.)
  • Checking coherence of the supply scope of the PO received from the Customer vs the latest submitted quote.
  • Support the PE and PM during internal and Customer Kick Off Meeting (KOM)
  • Salesforce and DOA management

The above activities can be referred both to Budget and Firm Quotations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Knowledge of English language. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Computer Skills
