The Role

Intesa, a company of the Kyndryl Group, is looking for a Project Manager to manage projects for both external and internal customers concerning processes and tools supporting the company’s business.

Project Managers oversee the delivery of major projects within scope, schedule and budget. You’ll be the driving force for every aspect of a program’s success and the single point of contact to the client. You’ll construct detailed project plans, manage teams, lead meetings, mitigate risks, manage finances and ensure deadlines and SLAs are met.

Communication is 90% of the job. You’ll be the bridge between clients, partners, technical and account roles, building strong partnerships and handling change requests with diplomacy.

You’ll network and forge relationships, possibly embedding at client locations for increased visibility and value.

Main activities

• Identification of project governance strategy
• Drafting and monitoring project plans
• Identify any open points to be addressed based on scope and feedback
• Preparation and governance of internal/external project SLAs
• Monitoring of schedules, job margins and final accounts
• Support and contribution to solution design
• Manage any critical issues, propose solutions to guarantee compliance with deadlines and budgets
• Management of evolutionary requests during project supervision activities
• Optimization of delivery phases guaranteeing efficient performance and quality
• Proactively identify dependencies
• Identify risks and mitigate them
• Verify that all project objectives are met and all team members perform correctly

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2 years of experience in the field
• Previous experience in banking with a focus on direct sales channels
• Ability to prepare and personally manage a project plan internally and with customers
• Ability to prepare and update project SLAs
• Determination and predisposition to achieve objectives
• Familiar with project management strategies based on the SME culture
• Ability to formalise content appropriately and adapt language register
• Ability to implement mediation strategies even in critical situations
• Can analyse a problem from different points of view, identifying alternatives and guiding implementation of the solution

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• In the absence of a degree, a diploma with relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of English, B2‑C1 level
