This role requires a structured mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach in managing network infrastructure projects. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, understanding of network devices, and familiarity with project management methodologies. The position offers a hybrid work model with occasional office presence in Milan.

The Role

Herzum is looking for a Junior PM Networkto join our team and support one of our Clients in the Retail sector. The ideal candidate combines a structured mindset and strong communication skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude to support the Client in planning, coordinating, and monitoring global project activities related to network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project plans, track milestones, and follow up with regional PMs to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Ensure all relevant stakeholders are properly engaged – identify and involve the right stakeholder (PMs or SMEs) in weekly meetings and client updates, where in‑depth technical explanations or updates are required.
• Proactively raise warnings in case of risks, issues, or dependencies that might impact delivery; propose solutions and ensure escalation before critical points are reached.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the client.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Very good understanding of network infrastructure, including devices (routers, switches, firewalls etc.), protocols and network services (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP etc.).
• Familiarity with IT project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) and proficiency in MS Office.
• Team player attitude, promoting collaboration and ensuring all participants understand their roles and contributions.
• Detail‑oriented and methodical, ensuring consistency across multiple workstreams.
• English proficiency, fluent speaking.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in corporate and consulting network‑related projects.
• Experience working with international teams and multi‑country projects.

Additional information

• Work mode: hybrid, with occasional presence at Milan office.
• Availability to travel abroad is required.
