NTWK in Milano is seeking a Junior Business Analyst / Functional Analyst to support the evolution and day-to-day maintenance of payment-related applications. You will bridge business stakeholders, IT teams and developers in an international environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in functional analysis, a good understanding of domestic and international payment schemes, and a motivation to grow in banking payments with SEPA and Instant Payments knowledge.

Competenze

• 2–4 years of professional experience in Business Analysis and/or Functional Analysis.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of payment processes, domestic and international.
• Familiarity with SEPA and Instant Payments is a nice to have.
• Understanding of cross-border payments and transfers is a nice to have.

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst / Functional Analyst to join a dynamic international team working on projects and application services within the Banking & Payments domain. The role is focused on supporting the evolution and day-to-day maintenance of payment-related applications, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams and software developers. The ideal candidate has already gained some experience in functional analysis and has a good understanding of banking payment processes, with the motivation to further develop their expertise in both domestic and international payment schemes.

Key Activities

• Gather and analyse business and functional requirements, working closely with business users and technical teams.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and documentation.
• Contribute to the definition of functional test scenarios, test cases and expected results.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the implementation and validation phases.
• Support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Analyse and track application defects, supporting their resolution with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to application maintenance, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in project meetings and working sessions with stakeholders in an international environment.
• Develop a progressively deeper understanding of banking payment processes and related applications.

Requisiti: Required Background & Skills

• 2–4 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis or a similar role.
• Previous experience within the Banking / Financial Services sector is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of payment processes, both domestic and international.
• Familiarity with SEPA and Instant Payments is a nice to have.
• Understanding of cross-border payments and transfers is a nice to have.
• Basic knowledge of SWIFT and financial messaging is a nice to have.
• General understanding of clearing and settlement processes.
• Ability to understand and analyse end-to-end payment flows is a nice to have.
• Experience with functional testing and/or UAT activities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Good level of written and spoken English, suitable for working in an international environment.
