Il candidato ideale possiede esperienza in analisi funzionale e una buona comprensione dei processi di pagamento, nazionale e internazionale, con motivazione a crescere in SEPA, Instant Payments e SWIFT. Lavoro onsite a Milano.

Qualifications

• 2–4 anni di esperienza professionale in Business/Functional Analysis o ruolo analogo.
• Preferibile esperienza nel settore Banking/Financial Services.
• Conoscenza dei processi di pagamento, sia domestici sia internazionali.

Responsibilities

• Raccogliere e analizzare requisiti di business e funzionali con utenti di business e team tecnici.
• Tradurre le esigenze di business in specifiche funzionali documentate.
• Contribuire alla definizione di scenari di test funzionali, casi di test e risultati attesi.
• Collaborare con i team di sviluppo durante implementazione e validazione.
• Supportare attività di System Testing e UAT.
• Analizzare difetti applicativi e supportarne la risoluzione con stakeholder.

Junior Business Analyst – Banking & Payments

Location: Italy / Milano ONSITE.

Experience: 2–4 years.

Employment: Full-time.

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst / Functional Analyst to join a dynamic international team working on projects and application services within the Banking & Payments domain .

The role is focused on supporting the evolution and day-to-day maintenance of payment-related applications, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams and software developers.

The ideal candidate has already gained some experience in functional analysis and has a good understanding of banking payment processes , with the motivation to further develop their expertise in both domestic and international payment schemes.

Key Activities

• Gather and analyse business and functional requirements, working closely with business users and technical teams.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and documentation.
• Contribute to the definition of functional test scenarios, test cases and expected results.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the implementation and validation phases.
• Support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Analyse and track application defects, supporting their resolution with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to application maintenance, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in project meetings and working sessions with stakeholders in an international environment.
• Develop a progressively deeper understanding of banking payment processes and related applications.

Required Background & Skills

• 2–4 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis or a similar role.
• Previous experience within the Banking / Financial Services sector is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of payment processes , both domestic and international.
• Familiarity with SEPA and Instant Payments is a nice to have .
• Understanding of cross-border payments and transfers is a nice to have .
• Basic knowledge of SWIFT and financial messaging is a nice to have .
• General understanding of clearing and settlement processes .
• Ability to understand and analyse end-to-end payment flows is a nice to have .
• Experience with functional testing and/or UAT activities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Good level of written and spoken English , suitable for working in an international environment.
