A dynamic engineering company in Venice is seeking a Junior Mechanical / Energy Engineer to develop thermodynamic simulation tools for the HVAC&R industry. You will design and maintain advanced simulation models, collaborate with R&D teams, and support clients in optimizing their systems. The ideal candidate should have a Master's or PhD in Engineering and a strong understanding of thermodynamics.

Competenze

  • Master’s degree or PhD/Post-doc in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and thermal equipment.
  • Ability and interest in programming and model development.

Position : Junior Mechanical / Energy Engineer

Location : Vega Park – Mestre (Venice, Italy)

About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical or Energy Engineer passionate about developing thermodynamic simulation tools.

You will play a key role in designing, improving, and maintaining advanced simulation models used for research, development, and commercial support within the HVAC&R industry.

You’ll collaborate with R&D teams and directly support clients in applying, calibrating, and extending simulation tools that model the performance of refrigeration and thermal systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain thermodynamic simulation models for refrigeration and thermal equipment in a .NET environment.
  • Support clients in experimental testing, design, and model calibration using in-house simulation tools.
  • Assist customers in integrating their product portfolios into thermodynamic simulation or commercial selection software.
  • Contribute to research and technology transfer projects, helping partner companies innovate and improve their products.
What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree or PhD / Post-doc in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and thermal equipment.
  • Ability and interest in programming and model development.
