Hitachi Rail è alla ricerca di un giovane Ingegnere Elettrico entusiasta da inserire nel Dipartimento di Ingegneria Rolling Stock. La posizione è basata a Napoli o Pistoia, con frequenti collaborazioni internazionali e opportunità di crescita nel settore ferroviario.

Il candidato ideale possiede una laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Elettrica/Elettronica, conoscenza di CAD elettrico (E3 preferito) e familiarità con simulazioni elettromagnetiche.

• Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Elettrica ed Elettronica.
• Conoscenza di componenti elettrici e schemi elettrici.
• Buona conoscenza di strumenti di progettazione CAD e analisi.
• Disponibilità a viaggi nazionali/internazionali.

Mansioni

• Preparare Specifiche di Requisiti di Sistema per componenti elettrici.
• Analizzare documentazione tecnica dei fornitori.
• Preparare e verificare disegni e specifiche di installazione elettrica.
• Condurre simulazioni per ottimizzare prestazioni e efficienza energetica.
• Verificare la conformità alle normative ferroviarie.

Job Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Junior Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks within our Rolling Stock Engineering Department. The position is based in Pistoia or Napoli - IT.

Accountabilities

• Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) for electrical components
• Analyze and assess technical documentation from Suppliers
• Prepare and verify electrical system installation/integration drawings/specifications (including material selection, electromagnetic/thermal analysis, etc.)
• Perform simulations to optimize electrical systems performance and energy efficiency
• Conduct design reviews (both internal and with suppliers) for the assigned work package, under the supervision of relevant Engineering Managers and Project Engineers
• Attend at system stand-alone type test and review of type test reports
• Support manufacturing, testing and validation phases
• Review design documentation with customers and suppliers
• Prepare electrical schematics, collaborating with mechanical design teams to ensure seamless electromechanical integration
• Prepare the Bill of Materials (BoM) of electrical schematics
• Ensure compliance with input requirements, international railway regulations and standards and project constraints (time, cost, quality)
• Prepare the documentation required for vehicle approval and support the homologation phase

Required Skills/ Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of electrotechnics and electronics disciplines
• Basic knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies
• Basic knowledge of electrical CAD tools (E3 preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electrical components (relays, circuit brakers, cables, connectors, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of electrical schematics design
• Basic knowledge of electrical machine design principles
• Basic knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., Ansys Maxwell, Motor-CAD).
• Basic knowledge of thermal and electromagnetic analysis
• Good knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, international and multicultural environment
• Good organizational skills, alongside team-working, problem-solving and results-driven mindset
• Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers)
• Ability to work within project teams under minimal supervision
• Availability for occasional short-term national and international business trips

Desired Skills/ Knowledge

• Minimum experience (1-2 years) in the Railway sector or in complex industrial environments
• Basic knowledge of main railway regulations and standards
• Basic knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool
• Basic knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations
• Familiarity with traction systems and power converters
• Basic knowledge of RAMS principles and processes
• Fast learner with strong willingness to stay up to date with technological developments
• Good business acumen combined with solid technical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education/Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics disciplines preferred).

Languages

Knowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level).

Proponiamo una retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 33.000 € e 38.000 €.
