Open position: Junior Electrical Engineer

Location: Milan (MI) - Italy

Electrical Engineer to be included in the Engineering - Systems/Plants area.

The sought-after candidate will contribute to the design of electromechanical systems, following all development phases of the design, with particular reference to technological system projects for transport and civil infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical power supply/distribution and, depending on experience and skills, also for Illumination in open road and tunnel environments
• Various traffic monitoring and management equipment
• Special systems, such as video surveillance, fire detection, data transmission, communication, SOS, etc.
• Electromechanical systems, such as tunnel ventilation, firefighting systems
• System management automation, including the development of procedures and algorithms, as well as their functional field verification

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience 1/3 years in the transport infrastructure sector (roads, motorways and railways)
• Knowledge of the Office package, AUTOCAD and specific software for dimensioning electrical installations and/or special installations
• Knowledge of English [French (B2) also desirable]
• Car B licence
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the transport infrastructure sector (roads, motorways, and railways)
• Knowledge of the Office suite, Autocad, and specific software for sizing electrical systems and/or special systems
• Knowledge of English [French (B2) is also welcome]
• B driver's license

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of software for design with BIM methodology (Revit MEP, Dynamo, Infraworks) is welcome
• Registration with the Order of Engineers or willingness to register
• Ability to work in a team
• Propensity for problem solving
• Result-orientation and proactivity
