Gruppo San Donato invites applications for the role of Junior Bioinformatician at the Experimental Hematology Unit in the division of Immunology, Transplantation and Infectious Diseases at the IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy.

Main activities

The Experimental Hematology Unit focuses on the development, preclinical, and clinical validation of cell and gene therapy approaches for cancer. The unit pioneers the clinical use of genetically engineered lymphocytes in stem cell transplantation. Successful candidates will apply bioinformatics tools to analyze omics data and evaluate CAR‑T cell dynamics in patients, aiming to identify cellular and molecular signatures associated with clinical outcomes. The position involves close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and interaction with bioinformaticians at the Center for Omics Sciences (COSR) and the Bioinformatics Core of the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR‑Tiget).

Who we are looking for
  • Previous experience in Next‑Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python or R.
  • Interest in immuno‑oncology and/or experience in immunology is appreciated.
  • A track record of bioinformatics publications is appreciated.
