To70 is seeking a Junior Aviation Consultant to join a young, multidisciplinary team in Italy. You will engage in complex airport projects, collaborating with experts to design sustainable, functional infrastructures and interacting directly with clients and stakeholders.

You will participate from analysis through development of design solutions, with responsibilities spanning terminal sizing, passenger flows, LOS analyses, and traffic modelling across Italy and international contexts.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Civil Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of experience in aviation/airport/engineering/consulting preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills necessary.
• Good organisational and communication skills, written and oral.
• Fluency in English required.

Mansioni

• Analyze and size airport terminals, passenger flows, LOS and needs of functional areas.
• Develop capacity analyses and LOS for terminal components and identify bottlenecks.
• Create traffic scenarios and demand models to assess impacts on sizing and operations.
• Use simulation models and analysis tools to evaluate flows, waiting times, capacity, and configurations.
• Contribute to functional terminal layouts translating requirements into design solutions.
• Prepare feasibility studies, quantitative analyses, reports and client presentations.

You will have the opportunity to work closelywith experts from various disciplines, contributing to the design anddevelopment ofinnovative, sustainable, andfunctional airport infrastructures and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

By joining our team, you will be involved in various phases of theprojects, from the analysis phase to the development of design solutions.

In particular, you will be responsible for:

• Analysing andsizingairport terminals, studying thepassengerflows, operationalprocesses, and theneeds of thedifferentfunctional areas: check-in, security,passport control, gates, baggage reclaim, and landside/airside.
• Developing capacity and levelof service(LOS)analyses of the main componentsof the terminal,identifyingcritical issues, bottlenecks, and opportunitiesforoptimisation.
• Developing traffic scenarios and demandmodels,assessing their impacton sizing andon the operationalperformanceof the terminal.
• Usingsimulation modelsand analysistoolsto evaluate passenger flows, waitingtimes, capacity, andalternativeconfigurationsof thespaces.
• Contribute to the design and definition of the functionallayouts of terminals, translating operationaland traffic requirements into efficient andsustainable design solutions.
• Evaluate different design alternativesconsidering capacity, functionality, operability,passenger experience and possibilities forfuture development of the infrastructure.
• Prepare feasibility studies, technical-quantitative analyses,reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders,also contributing to the discussion and presentation ofthe results.
• Work on airport projects in Italy and at aninternational level, engaging with terminals, operators anddifferent operational contexts.

Requirements:

We are looking for a person with a solid technical background, but above all with thewillingness to learn, grow and gradually take on newresponsibilities.

• Master's degreein Aerospace Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Between2 and 4 years of experience in related roles,preferably in aviation, airport, mobility, engineering orconsulting.
• Good analyticaland quantitative skills, with an aptitude for solvingcomplex problems.
• Goodorganisational and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Passion foraviation, curiosity and a desire to continuously explore newtopics.
• Precision,initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Strongteam working skills and interest in a dynamic andinternational environment.
• Good knowledgeof the English language.
