Role Description
We are seeking a Front Office Manager to join our passionate team for the 2026 season (end of April - end of October). As the face and heart of our resort, you will ensure that each guest's journey begins and ends with empathy, grace, efficiency, and genuine care. You will oversee the daily front office operations, lead and inspire your team, and curate a seamless guest experience that reflects the soul of Fattoria di Vegi.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a Front Office or Guest Relations management role within a luxury or boutique hospitality environment.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with a natural ability to inspire and connect.
- Strong sense of hospitality and a refined understanding of guest expectations.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German and/or French is a distinct advantage.
- Solid knowledge of PMS systems and hotel operations.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Role Objectives
- Manages guest check-in and check-out, ensuring an efficient and pleasant process.
- Responds to guest questions and requests.
- Handles guest complaints, attempting to resolve problems in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Supervises and trains front desk staff, ensuring that they provide high-quality service.
- Creates and assigns shifts, ensuring adequate service coverage.
- Monitors staff performance and provides constructive feedback.
- Oversees the booking office and assists operators with daily duties.
- Is responsible for the hotel's payments, and therefore manages and verifies them and carries out the daily cash closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
