Neara is seeking a Payroll Implementation Manager – Italy to serve as the payroll SME for Italian implementations. You will lead country‑specific payroll activities from discovery through go‑live, ensuring compliance with Italian legislation and best practices, and delivering high‑quality results.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in managing Italian payroll, hands‑on experience with Italian payroll software, and fluency in Italian and English.

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years' experience processing and implementing Italian payroll.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Italian payroll software.
• Expert knowledge of Italian payroll legislation, tax, social insurance and reporting.
• Experience with leading Italian payroll engines (Zucchetti Paghe, TeamSystem HR, INAZ Paghe, ADP Italy, SAP HCM Payroll Italy).
• Strong stakeholder management and customer consulting skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Act as the recognised SME for Italian payroll implementations.
• Lead payroll discovery workshops and advise on legislation and best practice.
• Challenge legacy processes and recommend scalable, compliant solutions.
• Work with Product and Engineering to validate payroll configuration.
• Lead payroll testing, parallel runs and payroll validation.
• Support go‑live readiness and first payroll.
• Advise Sales on Italian payroll requirements.
• Identify legislative risks and dependencies.
• Contribute to product enhancements and implementation methodology.
• Own Italy implementation playbooks and knowledge sharing.
