N26 has reimagined banking for today’s digital world. We are seeking a Business Audit Manager to join our team in Italy.

The role conducts risk-based internal audits across the N26 group, defines annual audit plans for the Italian landscape, and ensures findings are addressed on time. You will lead audit projects, supervise junior staff, liaise with regulators such as Bank of Italy, and uphold professional standards in a dynamic, regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Significant internal audit experience in a regulated international setting.
• At least 6 years of experience within the Italian market.
• Familiar with agile methods, digital product development, and data-driven audits.
• Experience liaising with external regulators (e.g. Bank of Italy).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct all internal audit activities within the N26 group in Italy.
• Lead full audit cycles including risk management and control effectiveness.
• Ensure execution of annual and multi-year audit plans focusing on Italy.
• Prepare internal audit reports with attention to scope details.
• Supervise and review junior team members' work.
• Monitor remediation of findings within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain independence and comply with internal audit policies.
