Job summary

Recruit UK, on behalf of a leading global investment management firm, seeks an Investment Counsellor to join its Dublin-based team. The role focuses on Italian private clients, building long-term relationships and guiding investment discussions.

You will work with internal investment, research, and client service teams, deliver market insights, and support clients with their portfolios. Fluent Italian and English are essential, with 2+ years in wealth management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with private clients within wealth management or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and investments, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent Italian and English language skills are essential.
• A relevant degree or financial qualification such as QFA, CISI or CFA would be beneficial, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth private clients.
• Manage a portfolio of client relationships and act as a key point of contact.
• Keep clients informed about their portfolios, market developments and investment strategies.
• Clearly communicate investment decisions and financial information in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
• Work closely with internal investment, research, trading and client service teams.
• Develop knowledge of financial markets, investments and portfolio management through ongoing training and development.
