A technology support firm in Italy is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance in Vicenza. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining incident reports, and working with third-party vendors. Candidates must hold a valid work permit in Italy and be proficient in English. This position requires on-site work with flexible hours (10-20 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS , Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber authorized .
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.

• Must hold a valid work permit in Italy
• English is mandatory
