Role Summary

We are looking for an IT Solution Analyst in S&EM Italy, based in Milan, to support a Strategic Digital Transformation Project focused on the B2B/Giants meter‑to‑cash process. The role will have a direct impact on core business operations such as invoicing, contract management, B2B offerings, and data analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Requirements analysis: Bridge business needs and technical solutions by gathering and documenting functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Development & configuration support: Translate requirements into technical specifications and aid system configuration.
  • Test management: Plan and execute integration testing and UAT, including test case preparation, defect management, and business coordination.
  • Data activities: Support data migration validation and analytics, including ETL and reporting.
  • System integrations: Define and document APIs and support integration testing.
  • Documentation: Create and update all functional and technical project documents.
  • Troubleshooting & support: Provide second‑level support and contribute to problem resolution (RCA).
  • New initiatives: Participate in POCs and support business continuity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related fields).
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience designing IT systems covering a wide range of enterprise applications such as CRM (ideally Salesforce), metering, invoicing, ERP (ideally SAP), credit management.
  • Awareness of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies; capability to support agile teams with advice on opportunities, impact, and risks, considering technical and architectural debt.
  • Knowledge of system integration principles and APIs; experience with API documentation (e.g., Swagger, Postman) is a significant plus.
  • Previous experience or familiarity with customer management, offering, or billing systems is considered a plus.
Desirable
  • Experience in energy utilities company dynamics, particularly in a B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with data management concepts, ETL, and reporting/analytics (e.g., BI tools, SQL, data warehousing).
  • Experience with a variety of platforms and architectures, including Cloud, SaaS, and on‑premises solutions.
Contract

Local contract according to Italian labour law.
