Overview

We are seeking experienced Network Engineers with strong Juniper and wireless networking skills to join our technical operations team supporting the Winter Olympics 2026 in Italy. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, high-performance network connectivity across Olympic venues, athlete villages, and supporting infrastructure.

  • Location: Northern Italy (Winter Olympics venues) – Milan, Cortina, Livigno
  • Country: Italy
  • Duration: Immediate start – March 2026
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term/Project-based
  • Accommodation: Provided on site
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Rate: Negotiable
Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Juniper network infrastructure (Switches, Routers, Firewalls).
  • Implement and optimise Wi-Fi networks across multiple venues and accommodations.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
  • Coordinate with local and international technical teams, ISPs, and event stakeholders.
  • Support temporary event networks (media centres, broadcast, athlete facilities).
  • Document configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure all installations meet security, performance, and compliance standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven hands-on experience with Juniper Networks (EX, MX, SRX series).
  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies (802.11 standards, RF planning, Wi-Fi controllers, access points).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostics.
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to changing event requirements.
  • Good communication skills in English (Italian a plus).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, or higher).
  • Experience in large-scale event connectivity or temporary deployments.
  • Familiarity with broadcast or media network environments.
  • Italian language skills or prior experience working in Italy.
