Overview
We are seeking experienced Network Engineers with strong Juniper and wireless networking skills to join our technical operations team supporting the Winter Olympics 2026 in Italy. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, high-performance network connectivity across Olympic venues, athlete villages, and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Juniper network infrastructure (Switches, Routers, Firewalls).
- Implement and optimise Wi-Fi networks across multiple venues and accommodations.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
- Coordinate with local and international technical teams, ISPs, and event stakeholders.
- Support temporary event networks (media centres, broadcast, athlete facilities).
- Document configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
- Ensure all installations meet security, performance, and compliance standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Juniper Networks (EX, MX, SRX series).
- Strong understanding of wireless technologies (802.11 standards, RF planning, Wi-Fi controllers, access points).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostics.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and VPNs.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to changing event requirements.
- Good communication skills in English (Italian a plus).
Desirable Qualifications
- Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, or higher).
- Experience in large-scale event connectivity or temporary deployments.
- Familiarity with broadcast or media network environments.
- Italian language skills or prior experience working in Italy.
