A luxury fashion company in Milan is seeking an Infrastructure SAP Specialist to enhance their SAP architecture and improve system efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Infrastructure & SAP roles, a Master’s degree in information systems or Engineering, and strong skills in SAP ERP and Microsoft Azure. This role demands problem-solving abilities and offers opportunities for international travel.

Job Purpose

The Infrastructure SAP Specialist will be part of our Information Technology Department. The ideal candidate is a dynamic profile who can contribute to the definition and development of the Prada Group SAP architecture. Interpersonal skills are required to cooperate with the Technical leadership of Prada SAP development areas. Ability to work under pressure and to manage incidents in cooperation with the team.

Responsibilities

• Help design, test and implement technical solutions innovating and exploiting new technologies to modernize systems.
• Implement and provide solutions to improve availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of our platforms.
• Attitude to problem solving for critical services, improving automation to prevent recurrent issues.
• Creation or help in the identification of tools to monitor the integrity of servers and applications.
• Management of systems with large quantity of data.
• Planning of the service capacity, demand forecast, analysis of software performance and search for system optimization.
• Experience in the management of systems distributed on a cloud or hybrid cloud environment.

Knowledge and Skills

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Infrastructure & SAP roles.

Master’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or equivalent. Good experience in SAP ERP, SAP Netweaver, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Solution Manager.

Strong knowledge in using Microsoft Azure. Significant experience on upgrade and/or migration projects, installation and configuration of SAP environments in Azure or public cloud. Knowledge of integration issues between SAP and 3rd party environments. Knowledge of the main databases supported by SAP (SAP HANA, ASE, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2). Knowledge of MS Windows and Linux operating systems. Support to production systems in complex landscapes. Good skills in tuning and sizing of SAP systems. Availability for short trips on the national or international territory.
