About the Role

A forward-thinking company is currently seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to join their internal technical support team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys troubleshooting, and wants to play a key part in ensuring employees have a smooth digital working experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support — Handle incoming IT service requests and support tickets, providing timely assistance for software, hardware, and connectivity issues. Ensure incidents are documented, tracked, and resolved in alignment with internal service standards.
  • Device Setup & Maintenance — Prepare laptops, desktops, and related equipment for new team members. Ensure proper configuration, installation of necessary programs, and secure connection to company systems.
  • Peripheral Equipment Management — Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals, troubleshooting any connectivity or functionality issues that arise.
  • Collaborative Troubleshooting — Work closely with other IT personnel and departments to identify recurring problems and contribute to long-term solutions.
Candidate Profile
  • Legal Eligibility — Must be registered under Law 68/99 (protected categories) and eligible for protected employment placement.
  • Education — High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with a focus in IT, electronics, or another technical field.
  • Experience — Previous experience in an IT support role is desirable but not mandatory. Entry-level candidates with relevant technical skills will also be considered.
  • Soft Skills — Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail; natural problem-solver with a proactive mindset; team player with excellent interpersonal communication; willingness to learn and grow in a structured environment.
