About the Role:
We are looking for an IT Sales Application Architect who will be part of the IT Sales Center of Expertise Team and report to the IT COE Sales Team Leader.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT architecture for Sales Applications, identifying solutions needed to support business operations and processes.
- Define key aspects of the application architecture and look for opportunities to improve or consolidate existing systems.
- Design applications, ensure compliance with global IT architecture standards and business requirements, maintaining consistent enterprise-wide design principles.
- Provide technical leadership to development or infrastructure implementation teams, acting as the subject matter expert in assigned area.
- Support the IT Account Manager during the demand collection process, working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify suitable IT solutions, and assess technical feasibility.
- Contribute to execution of IT projects in collaboration with project managers, platform leaders, and external suppliers.
- Guide resolution of critical incidents, act as third-level support when necessary, and maintain constructive relationships with vendors to evaluate offerings against business requirements, constraints, and priorities.
About You:
- Degree in IT, Engineering, or Business Management and at least six years of professional experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to lead, manage, and guide team members effectively.
- Confident communication across multiple organizational levels, translate business requirements into application and technical concepts.
- Experience implementing Sales applications and processes, particularly in Order to Cash and cross‑company sales.
- Deep knowledge of SAP S4 (SD and MM/LE modules) and demonstrated experience in SAP S4 implementation projects.
- Familiar with EDI, data exchange, CRM‑ECC integration, and basic ABAP reading and debugging skills.
- Experience with SAP C4C (Sales Cloud) implementation projects is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Italian, German, or Spanish are an advantage.
- Available for international mobility and excellent command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
